Sedation

Sedation allows you to be fully relaxed while your dentistry is completed. At One Dental we offer IV sedation. We can also offer oral sedation. Our team is extensively trained in IV and oral sedation and here to look after you.

Prior to any sedation we will see you for a general consultation. This allows us to talk through with you what treatment you would like to have undertaken when you are sedated. This consultation will only be a chat, xrays and examination. It is a gentle way for you to meet us the team and visit the practice.

During the sedation you will have a team of three with you, your dentist, your dental assistant and an additional assistant to monitor and record the sedation.

Following discharged you must be picked up and driven home by someone who can look after you as you will still be slightly sedated. Your reactions will be slower and your decision making affected. The remainder of the day you will not be able to work, care for others, drive, operate machinery/equipment or sign any documents. We also recommend no online shopping!!

The cost of the sedation is $450. The dental work is additional to this, a quote for the treatment will be given to you at the initial sedation consultation.

I highly recommend going and seeing Justin at One Dental! Really professional and such a friendly guy. I recently got a filling done and have had the same tooth filled twice before at other practices. Justin explained the process and gave me multiple options. I went with his recommendation which was actually cheaper. He did an amazing job, it looks like a brand new tooth!The receptionist was also very friendly and understanding when I had to rebook because I was in covid isolation. I will definitely be back if I need more treatment. Many thanks! 5 stars!

Justin and an assistant came in on a Sunday to provide me emergency service when I had a sports injury to my teeth. He was amazing and I was so appreciative of him and his team for helping me out when they don't normally work! They were friendly, informative and I was completely at ease. Thank you so much!

The team at One Dental Stoke are hands down the sweetest people I have come across in the industry. They are welcoming and kind - making you feel very calm and safe in their hands.They offer such a large range of services to suit pretty much everyone and their needs. A huge plus for me was that they offer sedation.Justin is incredibly caring & understanding. He provides nothing but the best treatment.
